Con este espacio de deliberaci\u00f3n pretendemos reunir a estudiantes, acad\u00e9micos, abogados y profesionales de \u00e1reas afines interesados en explorar diversos temas jur\u00eddicos.<\/p>\n<p>En cada sesi\u00f3n se requerir\u00e1 lectura previa y la misma se desarrollar\u00e1 en formato de di\u00e1logo moderado, facilitado por un miembro del c\u00edrculo, quien conducir\u00e1 la discusi\u00f3n, recopilar\u00e1 las preguntas que se formulen y fomentar\u00e1 el intercambio de ideas. El Law &amp; Liberty Book Club es una actividad gratuita; no obstante, se agradecen donaciones voluntarias para cubrir gastos log\u00edsticos y refrigerios.<\/p>\n<p>Los participantes deber\u00e1n adquirir los libros por su \u00a0cuenta.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sobre el libro<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>The Tempting of America: The Political Seduction of the Law<\/em>, de Robert H. Bork, es una obra influyente sobre teor\u00eda constitucional y filosof\u00eda judicial en Estados Unidos. Publicado poco despu\u00e9s de que el Senado rechazara su nominaci\u00f3n a la Corte Suprema en 1987, el libro combina autobiograf\u00eda, historia constitucional y una defensa de su visi\u00f3n del derecho.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los principales temas del libro se encuentran el originalismo como m\u00e9todo de interpretaci\u00f3n constitucional, la cr\u00edtica al activismo judicial y la politizaci\u00f3n del proceso de nombramiento de jueces.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sobre el c\u00edrculo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Circle se inspira en los principios fundacionales de la Universidad Francisco Marroqu\u00edn, y en los valores de la Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies y de la International Law &amp; Liberty Society.
